on the long run, guys with serious anger and impulse control issues remain a 'problem'. And problems are not good to live with. I would seriously think about dumping him (on a civilised way, as long as you are still 'freinds'), as things usually don't get better with time, just the opposite. (sorry if it sounds like unrequested advice - it is unrequested, but GOOD, while coming from experience :)

Most of the lads in the family have their own kilt outfits except DH who reckons they cost too much to buy, but considering the amount of times we've hired them for him, I reckon we could easily have bought him one by now, AND had change.

That is the saddest part. I get so angry when I see women who think the guy is 'The One' and bring him around the kids only to have it not work out. Kids get confused, they get hurt, they think it's their fault.

Wow, even with my rubbishy love life history, I might have a chance with your friend :))! Joking aside though, I think you're right that you do need to say something about all this to her. If she wants to be taken seriously by men as possible relationship material, jumping into bed with them at the first opportunity is not the best way to go about that!

Ahhh... been there, done that, hopfully not doing it again later as I would rather pull out all my hair and set it on fire. Harsh, true, but I don't enjoy being subjected to stories of woe that revolve around a hand job in a taxi and ten billion sobbed 'why didn't he call's???' before she moved on to the next guy.
Don't feel too bad. I only wish I'd been able to stand up and tell her off like you're doing. I had to live with her and keep the peace... *shivers from bad memories*

Our last house had been rented out to a group of not-so-phantom pee-ers, and the whole upstairs stank (which is probably why no one had put an offer in on it).

We've got a tortoise that does all his bodily functions wherever he feels like and continually walks/podges through it - does that count?
